PointFit's PF-Sweat Patch replaces finger-prick blood tests with a patented nanomembrane that reads lactate and cortisol directly from sweat, giving athletes clinical-grade, real-time insight into fatigue and aerobic threshold. Founded in 2020 by HKUST alumni and incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it won the CES 2026 Innovation Award, was validated at 92% accuracy against blood tests, and closed a seed round at a US$10M valuation.

Global Medical Biotech turns traditional Chinese medicine into evidence-based health products, drawing on the HKUST Center for Chinese Medicine led by Chair Professor Karl Tsim, with a pipeline spanning mental-health formulae (Kai-Xin-San), women's health, herbal skincare and cancer-recovery supplements. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it is building an integrated platform covering product R&D, quality testing and commercialisation.

Bauhinia AI builds next-generation AI application infrastructure for intelligent and multi-agent systems; its flagship AIvilization is an AI-native virtual-society platform for gaming, research and education that runs tens of thousands of self-evolving agents at once — the world's largest multi-agent online world. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and a 2025 Geneva Gold Medal winner, it is moving from tech demo to MVP on a GaaS/SaaS model.

Castor Construction Robotics (河狸智造) builds construction robots and automation, led by its RBTS1 rebar-tying robot — 39 kg, 500 nodes per hour, 5.2 seconds per tie and 100–300 mm rebar-spacing tolerance — alongside intelligent rebar-cutting equipment. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it targets the industry's severe labour shortage by removing the heat, crouching and height risks of manual rebar work.

Syntrak is building Snowtrak, an IMU-embedded base layer with a companion app that delivers full-body motion capture, a 3D digital twin and real-time AI ski coaching, giving ski teams, academies and frequent skiers objective, comparable performance data. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it is finalising its alpha hardware and app and targets 3–5 letters of intent from ski organisations in its first six months.

Stellerus Technology is building a satellite constellation and AI algorithms to deliver kilometre-level, 15-minute-refresh 3D wind-field data — filling a gap it estimates drives US$1.11 trillion in annual climate losses — for renewable asset management, energy trading and the low-altitude economy. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and a Gobi portfolio company, its team launched HKUST-FYBB#1, Hong Kong higher education's first satellite, with the first satellite pair scheduled for Q3 2027.

EnKang Pharmaceuticals develops first-in-class DRIP inhibitors against the target its founder, Academician Liang Chun, identified for the first time worldwide, opening a new therapeutic track for pre-cancerous lesions with tumour inhibition above 90%. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and recognised as a national disruptive-innovation project, it has raised RMB 300M cumulatively, cleared Phase I with no serious adverse events, and has cooperation intent with China Resources Pharmaceutical.

SmartCare builds clinical AI out of HKUST Smart Lab: its SmartConsult co-pilot transcribes multilingual consultations into structured clinical notes at 97%+ accuracy, while its Virtual Patient platform trains clinicians with AI patients that respond in under two seconds across 10+ languages. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it has been piloted at more than 10 healthcare institutions.

OOley Care builds smart eyewear for glaucoma prevention: the O-Goggle pairs hyperthermia with negative-pressure therapy to relieve eye pressure and restore tear production, while the O-Keratometer screens for glaucoma and trachoma from a phone in 15 seconds at 80% accuracy. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay with its O-Goggle IP licensed from HKUST, it already has 100+ users worldwide.

SSV provides an openBIM-based digital twin platform for smart facility management that integrates AIoT monitoring and autonomous robots with AI-driven predictive maintenance and ESG reporting. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and co-founded by Prof. Jack Cheng, its modular platform lets clients scale from basic facility management to AI and ESG modules as needs grow.

Coalot Tech uses proprietary nano-microfluidic manufacturing to produce multi-functional nano-core-shell coatings, including a quantum-dot photovoltaic coating that lifts solar output by 15–20% and the mass-produced “Ice Shield” thermal-insulation film. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it holds 10+ core patents, won a Gold Medal at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, and its products are already deployed at sites including Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai's Shui On Land.

Edaige builds a portable Edge AI camera on patented FasterNet, PConv and TVConv architectures, delivering 95%+ real-time action recognition at 10× lower cost than professional systems without depending on the cloud, for privacy and low latency. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it targets amateur basketball analytics and iCare rehabilitation monitoring, on hardware sales plus tiered subscriptions.

Creative AI Tech's multi-agent platform automates video production end to end — turning a script into a finished video in under 30 minutes, cutting revision cycles by 60–80% and cost by 80% versus traditional outsourcing. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, the team is led by ICCV 2023 Best Paper winner Prof. Anyi Rao (ControlNet, AnimateDiff) and has secured a pilot programme with Netflix.

EmergingX's SmartPath is a full-stack computational pathology platform built on 10-billion-parameter models trained on 10 million whole-slide images, delivering clinical-grade cancer diagnosis in one minute with 100× image compression and 10× lower deployment cost. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and backed by RAISe+, it works with 17 hospitals, holds 11 patents and has published in Nature journals.

AthLink is an AI-driven matchmaking platform that connects athletes — from amateur to Olympic level — with brands seeking authentic sponsorship, on an athlete-first model that charges athletes nothing. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and backed by the GBA Youth Entrepreneurship Grant, HKUST EC and HKSTP, it runs a two-sided marketplace with three revenue streams.

LoonGaN Technology develops vertical gallium nitride (GaN) power devices that shorten the power-conversion chain in AI data centres, reaching over 95% efficiency, 3–5× the power density and 20–30% lower cost than silicon devices. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and led by Prof. Kei May Lau (US National Academy of Engineering) as Chief Scientist, it holds 8 patents and works with 7 industry partners and 4 R&D pilot lines.

EllequaNova (港科水創) develops electrochemical treatment for the hardest wastewater and sludge: its ECO® process combines electrochemical oxidation with UV photocatalysis to remove 90% of COD from landfill leachate in under an hour, while LEEO® deodorises, dewaters and reduces sludge with zero hydrogen sulphide and no chemicals. Founded on Prof. Guanghao Chen's HKUST research and among the first RAISe+ awardees, it has a 50 m³/day pilot running and is scaling to 500–1,000 m³/day.

Allegrow Biotech's proprietary AimGel™ platform is a chemically defined, biomimetic artificial-cell system that removes the inconsistency bottleneck in immune-cell activation and expansion for cell therapy. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it has secured over HK$12M (80% non-dilutive), made first reagent sales in the UK, Canada and China, and targets GMP-grade reagents by end-2027.

Art Growth runs Articulator.ai, a one-stop platform that lets artists generate AI remixes of their own work and authenticate each piece with a W3C DID:ART credential embedded as a 2D barcode on the blockchain — commercialising a patented HKUST invention by Prof. Mow. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, its art marketplace Artracx.com has been live since November 2022 and the Gen-AI remix MVP is already working.

Zonic AI builds an agentic video-editing operational layer that automates the intelligence-intensive 60%+ of post-production — footage understanding, clip retrieval, rough-cut assembly and multi-version output — while leaving creative judgement to editors. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and working with production house Anchor Film (330 projects a year), it targets SME studios first as the fastest-ROI segment.

NucSelf Biotech's “DNA Grade” tape brings clinical-grade HPV testing home, using a programmable CRISPR reaction to reach PCR-like sensitivity and 100% accuracy without the laboratory bottleneck, as a non-invasive alternative to cervical swabs. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay and a 2025 Geneva Gold+ medal winner, it has clinically validated 60 samples and filed two patents.

SolarArch's ChromaSmart BIPV system addresses the aesthetics-versus-output trade-off in coloured building-integrated photovoltaics, absorbing 20–50% more light than mainstream Mainland colour-PV products at roughly one-third of European cost, with ANN-based system control and fault monitoring. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it has completed a Shenzhen Futian pilot and reached TRL 8 on its smart energy control system.

Atom Semiconductor is a fabless chip company whose sensing chips pair a 24-bit ΣΔ ADC with proprietary mixed-signal design and programmable signal-acquisition algorithms, delivering market-leading accuracy at the lowest power. Incubated at HKUST InnoBay, it has raised over US$20M across three rounds, has three products in mass production, was a 2025 ITC RAISe+ awardee, and appeared on Forbes Asia's 100 to Watch list.
